The Social Contract for the USA
A Theme of The Social Contract for the USA “Social Contract”? It is seldom defined yet replete in use today. Social Contract as used in the founding of the USA is one of natural rights as was advocated by John Locke (The Social Contract According to John Locke).
Our very founding, by The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America, specifically invoked John Locke’s theory of natural rights in it’s statement “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” and the further proclamation of unalienable rights. It therefore follows that the USA citizen’s founding Social Contract is one in which our collective societal responsibility is to the defense and security of every individual US citizen’s “Unalienable Rights” as endowed by our very creation.
We The People’s Government is a constitutional republican form of government and define it to be a government in which supreme power is held only by all voting citizens and of governance by elected officers and representatives governing only by the explicit consent of the governed according to enacted law and statute with all in strict compliance with the Constitution of the United States of America and in the strict spirit of our Declaration of Independence with all under the direct oversight of its individual USA citizens and a Constitutional Compliance Branch of government via non-political Constitutional Compliance Panels (CCP).
“Our constitution is We The People’s “contract” with government and if We can not ensure that government adheres to it then We are left to its tyranny.” – Restore Our Union (2010)
